Aroundtown, via Grand City, has acquired roughly 20% of LEG Immobilien (purchase price about €700m) and could increase the stake to up to 29.9% or reduce it later. As of 30.6.2026, LEG reports an EPRA‑NTA of €10.5bn versus a market valuation of around €3.75bn. Since LEG holds no residential properties in Berlin, the company is less affected by plans to nationalise. Grand City Properties, controlled by Aroundtown, has increased its stake in LEG to 20.04 percent; the package is worth around €700 million. LEG’s share subsequently rose by about 2.5 percent, and analysts were surprised by the rapid acquisition. It is unclear how Aroundtown financed the purchase; Aroundtown’s residential portfolio would become its largest segment with a 42 percent share following the stake.
