B. Riley Financial raises profit and operating EBITDA in second quarter thanks to capital markets business
B. Riley Financial reported adjusted operating EBITDA of $66 million for Q2 2026, diluted earnings per share of $0.45 and revenue of $239 million. Drivers were the recovering capital markets business (B. Riley Securities was involved in transactions totaling $21 billion) as well as higher service and fee revenue. The company reduced debt in the first half by $497 million to net debt of $285 million and recorded lower operating expenses. Management highlights an improved pipeline and recurring revenue from asset management and communications, but warns of continued short-term market volatility and maturing liabilities in 2026. » More on de.investing.com
