Basler gains new growth drivers from AI data centers and automation
Basler sees an expansion of its growth story: alongside a recovery in traditional automation markets, AI data centers and the increasing automation of logistics centers will drive demand going forward. The company’s cameras and image-processing systems are being used more extensively in data centers and automated warehousing processes. Basler raises annual forecast after strong first half
Basler has raised its full-year targets again and now expects revenue of €270–290 million (up to +29% versus the previous year) and an EBIT margin of 12.5–14.5%. In the first half, revenue rose 36% to €152 million and EBIT quadrupled to around €31 million (EBIT margin 20.4%). Analyst expectations were mostly already at the upper end of the new range, and investor reactions were volatile.
