Banque Cantonale de Geneve records record result in first half of 2026

The Geneva cantonal bank Banque Cantonale de Geneve increased operating profit in the first half of 2026 to CHF 138.3m (+~25%) and net profit to CHF 118.6m (+26%). Operating income grew by just over 12% to CHF 310.5m, net interest income to CHF 181m (+~10%) and commission and fee business to CHF 85m (+11%). Trading contributed CHF 23m, assets under management rose to CHF 41.9bn (+3.7%) and customer loans to CHF 21.8bn (+2.1%).
