The company raised its full-year forecast to $5.05–$5.30 per share and reported an adjusted operating margin of 11.3%. The board approved an increase to the buyback program of $1 billion, bringing total authorization through 2029 to about $1.35 billion, which, together with analyst upgrades, pushed the stock significantly higher in premarket trading.     BorgWarner has won several program extensions for high‑voltage inverters with a major European automaker, with production planned to start in 2029. The orders cover evolved designs for plug‑in hybrids and 800‑volt battery electric vehicles. For PHEV applications BorgWarner will supply an updated inverter design with its own ASIC technology; for 800‑V applications a traction inverter will be used featuring new Viper‑SiC power switches and a double‑sided cooled power module.
