Canada Goose under pressure after Wells Fargo downgrade and tariff risks
Canada Goose shares fell about 5.5% in premarket trading after Wells Fargo cut its rating to "Underweight" with a C$10 price target and cited near-term structural risks. An announced U.S. tariff of 50% on certain Canadian imports from August 19 further clouds the company’s U.S. outlook. Earlier analyst downgrades and a weak market environment pushed the stock close to its 52-week low of around $8.3–$8.4. » More on de.investing.com

Canada Goose downgraded to sell by Williams Trading
Canada Goose shares fell about 2% after Williams Trading cut its rating from “Hold” to “Sell” and lowered the price target from Cdn$12.00 to Cdn$10.00. The downgrade was justified by the risk of an additional 50% U.S. tariff on certain clothing imports from Canada, due to take effect on August 19, 2026. Analyst Sam Poser warns that Canada Goose may have to lower or withdraw its fiscal 2027 guidance, since more than 25% of sales come from the U.S., and expresses skepticism about management’s growth strategy. The company will report results for the first quarter of fiscal 2027 on July 30, 2026. » More on de.investing.com
