Chalice Mining advances Gonneville project and presents positive economic data
At the Noosa Mining Conference, Chalice Mining outlined the further development of the Gonneville project and an expanded exploration program. The pre-feasibility study shows a pre-tax NPV8 of AUD 1.4 billion, an IRR of 23% (at spot prices up to ~40% higher) and a payback period of under three years. The company emphasised strong government support, a debt-free balance sheet with AUD 63 million in liquidity and a financing plan aimed primarily at export credit agencies.
