CIR completes takeover of KOS and launches €34 million share buyback
CIR acquired the remaining 40.23% of KOS for €220 million on January 29 and is now sole owner of the leading long‑term care provider. At the same time the board approved a voluntary buyback offer for up to 50 million shares at €0.68 per share (maximum €34 million). Group revenue fell slightly in 2025 to €1,800.9 million, the EBITDA margin rose to 15.2%, but net profit declined sharply to €28.4 million. KOS proved a growth driver with rising revenue and improved EBITDA, while the automotive division Sogefi saw declines in revenue and profit. CIR emphasizes a strengthened balance sheet, an ESG focus and a cautious outlook for 2026, with continued benefits from KOS and headwinds for Sogefi. » More on de.investing.com
