Südzucker has lowered its forecasts for the 2025/26 financial year and now expects revenues of €8.3–8.7 billion and an operating result of €100–200 million. The move is due to lower world market prices for sugar and ethanol, performance problems and higher costs in specialties, and technical disruptions at the CropEnergies unit.
