Delivery Hero increased adjusted EBITDA in the first half and beat revenue and GMV expectations in the second quarter. CFO Marie-Anne Popp expects the publication of Uber's detailed takeover offer "shortly"; the management board and supervisory board would then issue a joint statement. Uber had offered €41.50 per share in mid‑July and now holds more than 53% of Delivery Hero, valuing the company at around €13 billion. Delivery Hero has agreed to a sale in 14 countries to SSW Partners for €1.4 billion and to ceding 22% of its markets; the transaction is expected to close in the second half of 2027.
