  • TUI struggles with muted recovery and further headwinds from Iran conflict

TUI shares have shown a moderate but volatile uptrend since May, yet a sustained breakout from the sideway phase has not occurred. Summer bookings are about 6% below last year and increased last‑minute bookings are weighing on margins, making it doubtful that last year’s EBIT of €1.41 billion can be reached, although management has confirmed its guidance of €1.1–1.4 billion. There is a strong resistance zone between €7.50 and €8.00; a clear break above €9.00 would be required to exit the overarching base formation. An end to the Iran conflict would help a marked recovery but is not currently in sight. » More on finanzen.net

  • TUI: €1,000 investment three years ago yields 15.40% gain

If €1,000 had been invested in TUI shares three years ago, the value based on closing prices would now be €1,154.00, an increase of 15.40 percent. The calculation is based on an initial price of €6.10 and a closing price of €7.04 on 18.08.2026 (corresponding to 163.827 shares). TUI most recently reported a market capitalization of €3.63 billion; stock splits and dividends were not taken into account in the calculation. » More on finanzen.net

  • Iran war drives TUI customers to last-minute bookings — revenue and profit remain below last year

TUI says the Iran war is prompting customers to make more last-minute bookings; booked revenue for the summer season was recently six percent below last year, but bookings have picked up in the past four weeks. CEO Sebastian Ebel avoids giving a revenue forecast for the year ending in September, but confirms the target of adjusted EBIT of €1.1–1.4 billion. In the third quarter, customer numbers fell to 9.9 million (-3%), revenue dropped six percent to €5.8 billion and adjusted EBIT declined 27 percent to around €234 million. Profit attributable to shareholders was roughly €83 million, well below the prior year; the share price fell at times and was trading around €7.25. » More on finanzen.net
