Denison Mines starts full construction of Phoenix uranium mine in Saskatchewan
Denison Mines has advanced site development at the Phoenix ISR project in Wheeler River from the preparatory phase into full construction, including the start of construction of the freeze wall for Phase 1. More than 20% of the civil works are complete, underground work for the processing plant and drill pads is nearly finished, and a temporary camp for nearly 400 people has been installed. Concrete work for the foundations of the substation and main processing plant is scheduled to begin in August; a second shift is planned to accelerate summer construction activity.
