discoverIE triples production capacity with new plant in Bangalore
discoverIE has opened a 9,000 m² plant in Jigani, Bangalore, more than doubling its previous floor space and tripling production capacity. The facility is part of the Noratel business unit and manufactures current transformers and magnetic components for electrification applications. Around 70% of current production is destined for customers in India, particularly in the renewable energy and infrastructure markets. discoverIE raises forecast after strong order intake – shares jump
A trading update for the quarter to 30 June 2026 at discoverIE reported organic order intake up 31%, organic revenue growth of 6% and a book-to-bill ratio of 1.15. The acquisitions of Trival and Storm contributed around 10% to revenue. discoverIE reports strong Q4 order growth and improved net debt
discoverIE recorded an organic order intake increase of 15% in the fourth quarter (year-on-year, constant currency) and revenue growth of 5%. On a full-year basis, orders were organically 5% ahead of revenue growth; the order book rose 6% versus mid-year. Gross margins remained robust despite increased sales, engineering and capacity investments; net debt to EBITDA is expected to be around 1.2x (pro forma including the Trival acquisition approximately 1.7x), and thus within the target range.
