California winery eStCru Wines, in which Tim Mynett (husband of Rep. Ilhan Omar) holds a stake, was abruptly marked as shut down on April 4 in California business records. The closure comes as the House Oversight Committee investigates disparities in Omar's financial disclosures after reported valuation jumps for Mynett's businesses prompted requests for documents and communications.
