Profit jump drives Electrolux B share to biggest daily gain in 19 years
The Electrolux B share rose 23.4% to 30.4 SEK after Q2 figures, marking the strongest one-day gain in about 19 years. Adjusted operating profit was 1.20 billion SEK, well above analysts' expectation of 617 million SEK, supported by 1.4 billion SEK in cost savings. Electrolux seeks customs refund of $88 million
Electrolux has filed claims of about $88 million with the US customs authority as part of the second phase of the refund process. The claims relate to duties imposed under the IEEPA, which the US Supreme Court declared unconstitutional in February 2026. The company expects a positive one‑off impact of roughly $61 million on the North America operating result for 2025 and a further approximately $27 million as part of cost of sales for Q1 2026, to be reported in Q2 2026.
