Elevra Lithium sells Western Australia project for A$16 million
Elevra Lithium has sold exploration licence E45/2364 in Western Australia to Wildcat Resources for a total of A$16 million plus contingent royalties. The consideration comprises A$5m cash on completion, A$8m in ordinary shares at A$0.353 per share and a A$3m deferred payment upon completion of a feasibility study, as well as contingent payments of A$0.70 per tonne for reported JORC-compliant pegmatite resources. Elevra increases production and lowers unit costs, shares rise
Elevra reported a 15% production increase in the June quarter to over 54,000 tonnes of spodumene concentrate and an annual production of 198,000 tonnes, exceeding the revised guidance. Operating unit costs were $853 per tonne, below the updated target range, while realized selling prices were suppressed by an older contract structure that has now expired. The company closed financing for the brownfield expansion of North American Lithium and plans a staged capacity increase to 220,000–230,000 tonnes. Elevra reported cash of $255 million at quarter-end and expects more frequent deliveries and improved realized prices now that the old contract terms have ended. » More on de.investing.com
