Emera to close New Mexico Gas sale for C$650–700m and reports Q2 adjusted EPS C$0.69

Emera reported Q2 adjusted earnings of C$212 million (C$0.69 per share) and year-to-date adjusted EPS of C$2.06, with management guiding to compound adjusted EPS growth above 5%–7% through 2026 and within that range to 2030. The New Mexico Gas sale received regulatory approval and is expected to close in August, generating ~C$650–700 million after tax that will be used to reduce holding-company debt and strengthen the balance sheet.
