BGH Capital has tabled a non-binding takeover bid for EQT Holdings that values EQT at A$663 million, or A$24.75 in cash per share, and narrowly tops a competing offer from TPG. Swedish private equity group EQT has raised its third takeover offer for Australian asset manager Perpetual to AUD 22.50 per share (about $1.8 billion), representing a premium of nearly 19% to the last closing price. Perpetual shares rose around 2.5% following the increase.
