Equinox Gold raises 2026 guidance, increases dividend and appoints new CEO after Orla deal
Equinox Gold said its combination with Orla Mining creates a larger North American producer and raised 2026 consolidated production guidance to 870,000–920,000 ounces (about 1.1 million pro forma). The board approved a 50% dividend increase to $0.09 per share and management reported $650 million cash, roughly $214 million net cash and about $1.2 billion available liquidity. Equinox Gold sold 8,713,000 common shares of Versamet in a block trade for gross proceeds of C$130 million. Before the sale Equinox Gold held 11,617,915 Versamet shares (about 10.7%); after the sale 2,904,915 shares remain (about 2.7%).
