European Lithium share continues to fall despite announced 10% buyback programme
The European Lithium share continued its steep downward trend, posting multiple double-digit drops (including -27.96% and -13.43%), despite the board announcing a buyback programme of up to 135 million shares (around 10% of the outstanding stock) for Oct. 2025–Mar. 2026. So far 2,110,119 own shares have been repurchased; additionally, the sale of 3.85 million shares to Critical Metals Corp brought in about USD 50 million of liquidity. Despite these measures, operational losses, tight liquidity and audit doubts about the company’s going-concern ability remain.
