Faraday Future calls shareholders' meeting for Aug. 12 on private placement and name change
Faraday Future has scheduled an extraordinary shareholders' meeting for Aug. 12 to vote on a private placement to issue common shares to holders of certain convertible notes and on renaming the company to "Faraday Future Physical AI Ecosystem Inc." The capital measure is intended to satisfy contractual obligations and finance the expansion of robotics capacity after the company reported significant cash outflows and a current ratio of 0.36. Faraday Future delivered 242 EAI robots from March to June, raised its annual target to 2,000 units, and hopes that scaled deliveries with a positive product gross margin will lead to positive operating cash flow; the board recommends approval of the proposals and filed a preliminary proxy statement with the SEC. » More on de.investing.com
Faraday Future approves capital increase, possible reverse stock split and financing
Faraday Future shareholders approved an increase in the authorized common and preferred share capital and the issuance of Class A shares in connection with a $45m note. Five directors were elected and a potential reverse split of up to 1:150 was approved, which the board may carry out within a year to avoid a NASDAQ delisting. At the same time, the equity incentive plan was expanded; the company recently raised $70m, raised its delivery target to 1,500 units and plans a new robotics product in June, but remains under financial pressure (share price $0.32, market capitalization ~ $96.7m, total debt $113m). » More on de.investing.com
Faraday Future increases revenue in Q1 2026 by 62% and reduces operating losses
Faraday Future reported revenue of $512,000 for Q1 2026, up 62% year-on-year, and reduced its operating loss to $35.9 million. The growth was driven mainly by the launch of the EAI robot products and the robotics business, which delivered positive margins. The company raised its full-year target for robot deliveries to 1,500 units, is working on AI integration and cost reductions, but still sees a need for financing and must meet Nasdaq requirements. » More on de.investing.com
