First Quantum has placed $1.5 billion of senior, unsecured notes due 2036 with a 6.375% coupon. The proceeds, together with cash, will be used to repay $1.35 billion of 9.375% notes due 2029, to partially repay the revolving credit facility and to cover transaction costs.
