Flughafen Zürich introduces automated shuttle buses without safety attendant
Since early September, Flughafen Zürich has been operating Level 4 automated shuttle buses for the first time without a safety attendant on board. The two vehicles run on a fixed route with no intersections with aircraft taxiways and are monitored from a control center. Safety drivers were retrained as remote supervisors and can intervene if necessary; the service initially operates without passengers for about four weeks and is planned through the end of 2026. The findings are intended to be used for further automated vehicles, and the share price briefly fell slightly to 206.60 francs. » More on finanzen.net
Flughafen Zürich posts record half-year, shares fall on muted outlook
Flughafen Zürich reports a record H1 2026 revenue of CHF 674 million, EBITDA of CHF 374 million and net profit of CHF 164 million, driven by higher passenger traffic in Zürich and strong growth in Brazil. The share price dropped about 4.3% after guidance pointed to slower passenger growth for 2026, high capital expenditures and weaker dividend expectations. The newly opened Noida International Airport is expected to remain EBITDA-negative in 2026 and to reach breakeven only in 2027. The company plans CHF 400 million of investments in Zürich and around CHF 100 million in international subsidiaries, and expects 2026 EBITDA to be broadly flat year-on-year but group profit to be lower. » More on de.investing.com
Flughafen Zürich increases revenue and EBITDA in first half

Consolidated profit rose only slightly, by 1% to 163.7 million Swiss francs, but remained the best half-year result in the company's history. The company confirms its full-year targets, expects about 3% more passengers to surpass 33 million, and keeps EBITDA at last year’s level, but anticipates a lower net profit due to fee reductions as well as depreciation and interest expenses from Noida. For 2026, investments of around 400 million in Zurich and 100 million abroad are planned; by 2040 the airport aims for revenue of over 3 billion and a ROIC above 8%. » More on finanzen.net
