    In its Q1 2026 letter Argosy Investors said it purchased Fomento EconĂłmico Mexicano (FMX), selling Coca-Cola FEMSA (KOF) in income-oriented accounts to shift exposure to FMX. The firm cited FMX’s Coca-Cola bottler franchise and a convenience-store expansion that should drive further beverage sales as reasons for the move.   • FEMSA plans dividend increase and special distribution ahead of annual meeting

    FEMSA convenes its ordinary and extraordinary shareholders’ meeting in Monterrey on March 27, 2026, and proposes two dividend measures for shareholder approval. The ordinary dividend is to rise by 3.7% and be paid quarterly at 0.9900 Ps. per FEMSAUB share or 1.1880 Ps. per FEMSAUBD share (11.88 Ps. per ADS).   • FEMSA: strong fourth quarter lifts mixed 2025 performance

    FEMSA posted a mixed performance in fiscal 2025, driven by a pronounced recovery in the fourth quarter: revenue rose 5.7% in Q4 and operating income increased 8.5%. Consolidated net income reached 12.7 billion MXN (+33.6% versus Q4 2024). Dragging factors included foreign exchange losses of 830 million MXN, lower interest income and provisions in the health division, while cost discipline and growth outside Mexico supported the improvement.
