GESCO records noticeable business upturn with significant earnings improvements

GESCO increased orders in the second quarter by almost 24% and sales by more than 10%. Analyst Jens Nielsen highlights the markedly improved profitability; EBIT rose by more than 50% in the first six months and net income by almost three quarters. ROCE improved from 4.7% to 5.9% and free cash flow increased to €19.5 million. Gesco increases sales in H1 2026 by 4.8% and confirms full-year forecast

Gesco posted sales of €249 million in the first half of 2026 (+4.8%) and raised EBIT by 52.9% to €12.69 million; EBITDA was €21.82 million, pre-tax profit €11.4 million and earnings per share €0.75. Order intake rose 13.2% to €272 million and improved the book-to-bill ratio. The margin improvement was driven by a lower material cost ratio and reduced other operating expenses. GESCO launches operational initiatives and targets a substantial profit jump

GESCO is pushing ahead with several measures to improve results independently of cyclical tailwinds. CEO Johannes Pfeffer presented initiatives at the annual general meeting that should already deliver significant positive impulses in 2026 and increase in subsequent years.
