Greencoat Renewables sets exchange rate for South African dividend
Greencoat Renewables set the conversion rate on 11 August for the quarterly dividend (1.70250 euro cents per share for the quarter to 30 June 2026) for shareholders registered in South Africa at 18.59000. That corresponds to a gross dividend of 31.64948 South African cents per share; after deducting the Irish withholding tax of 25% the amount is 23.73711 SA cents. In addition, a South African dividend tax of 20% may apply, which would result in a net dividend of 17.40721 SA cents per share after both deductions. Shareholders tax-resident in South Africa can claim a refund of the Irish withholding tax or credit the Irish tax paid against their South African tax; professional tax advice is recommended if there is any uncertainty. » More on de.investing.com
