Harvest Minerals has agreed to the binding acquisition of Scanty Mineração Ltda, a subsidiary of Union Star Metals. Scanty contributes eight rare-earth projects in Brazil comprising 27 licences; the consideration includes A$200,000 cash, 40,000,000 new Harvest shares and up to A$300,000 deferred payments tied to development milestones. Harvest Minerals reports a 58% revenue decline to USD 516,533 for H1 2025 and a post-tax loss of USD 1,980,127 (previous year: USD 1,780,082). Fertilizer sales amounted to 10,525 tonnes; the company revises its full-year forecast to around 25,000 tonnes due to persistently difficult market conditions. In response, Harvest is diversifying into the REE potential of the Arapuá project, with lab analyses showing 1,176–1,860 ppm total rare earth oxides.
