HSBC grants nine executives additional shares as dividend equivalents
HSBC has allocated additional ordinary shares to nine executives under the HSBC Share Plan 2011 as dividend equivalents. The allocation related to the second interim dividend for 2026 and was made at a price of £15.1928 per share (average closing price over five trading days from 13 August 2026). Group CEO Georges Elhedery received 3,525 shares (value £53,554.62); further allocations were made to Pam Kaur, Stuart Riley, Michael Roberts and other members of management. HSBC places bonds totaling 4 billion CNY
HSBC placed fixed-rate bonds totaling 4 billion CNY, of which 2.5 billion CNY carry a 1.950% coupon maturing in 2030 and 1.5 billion CNY carry a 2.300% coupon maturing in 2034. The Financial Conduct Authority approved a prospectus supplement that was filed with the National Storage Mechanism and is viewable via the FCA database. HSBC has granted conditional awards of 286,184 ordinary shares at a purchase price of £0 under the “HSBC Share Plan 2011”. The shares vest 33% after one year and 33% after two years, and 34% after three years; for material risk takers the vesting period can be extended up to five years. A 12‑month holding period may also apply.
