Samsung Biologics to acquire Human Genome Sciences from GSK for $280 million

Samsung Biologics is expanding its U.S. presence by acquiring Human Genome Sciences from GSK for $280 million. The Rockville, Maryland site includes two production facilities with a combined capacity of 60,000 liters and is the company’s first manufacturing location in the United States.
