HYPO NOE increases new lending to €1.7 billion despite higher levies
HYPO NOE raised new lending by more than 5% to €1.7 billion and posted a commission income increase of over 7%; municipal financings amounted to €428 million. Operating results were weighed down by a sharply higher bank levy, the passing on of low interest rates to customers and increased risk provisions for residential construction properties, while the NPL ratio remained below 3%. Administrative expenses were €123.4 million and the pre-tax profit for the period was €33.4 million. For 2026 the bank is confident, expecting a stabilization of the property market and a recovery in the real estate lending market in the second half of the year. » More on finanzen.net
