Implenia increases order backlog to CHF 8.5 billion; shares rise 3.3%

Implenia increases profitability in first half and confirms margin target
Implenia reported a 4.8% decline in revenue to CHF 1.77bn in the first half, but increased EBIT by nearly 6% to CHF 60.4m and raised the EBIT margin to 3.4%. Group profit rose by around 7% to CHF 35.6m, order backlog grew by 9.6% to CHF 8.52bn, and the pre-calculated project margin in the backlog improved to 7.9%.
