Lonza shares fall after revenue miss despite strong margins
Lonza shares lost 2.2% after reporting H1 2026 results, after revenue slightly missed consensus estimates. Negative market sentiment and a “buy the rumor, sell the news” reaction amplified the short-term price setback. » More on de.investing.com
Lonza reports production expansion and US partnership ahead of half-year report
Lonza's stock has recently staged a strong comeback, supported by sector rotation and positive company news. At the end of June, Lonza announced it will expand production of payload linkers in Visp (commissioning in 2028) and broadened a US cooperation to produce two active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) with an option for two more, a move that could potentially generate billions in revenue. Analyst consensus sees revenue growth of around 16.5% for H1 2026 and a significantly higher core-EBITDA margin; CEO Wolfgang Wienand and CFO Philippe Deecke will comment on the half-year results in a conference call. » More on finanzen.net
