  • Prima Energy acquires 28.3% stake in Jadestone Energy

The financial terms have been agreed to remain confidential. • Jadestone Energy increases revenue despite production decline and lowers annual guidance

Jadestone Energy reported a 13% revenue increase to $261m in the first half and net cash flow from operating activities of $97m, while recording an after-tax loss of $4.8m. Higher oil prices, freight premiums and a drilling campaign in Malaysia (+8,500 bbl/d) offset unplanned outages at CWLH and Stag. Due to the shutdowns the company cut its 2026 production guidance to 16,000–18,000 boepd, but expects CWLH to be back in service by the end of Q3 2026 and Stag to restart in Q2 2027 after replacement of the CALM buoy. Liquidity stands at over $200m; projects in Vietnam and Montara remain key growth options. » More on de.investing.com

Jadestone Energy UK has successfully completed a senior secured $200 million bond issue maturing in 2031 with a 12% coupon. The transaction was oversubscribed and attracted Nordic and international investors; major shareholder Tyrus Capital subscribed $25 million. Repayment begins in year 3 with annual instalments of $50 million and a final bullet payment of $100 million, with settlement around 14 April 2026. Proceeds will be used to refinance an existing reserve‑based credit facility and for general corporate purposes, including financing the Vietnam development project. » More on de.investing.com
