Jones Soda is partnering with Rap Snacks to launch a limited, hip-hop-culture-inspired craft soda collection. The first series includes three flavors in collectible cans, each intended to be dedicated to individual artists. Jones Soda is releasing a limited 6-pack in collaboration with Crayola featuring six soda flavors, each inspired by a Crayola color. The edition arrives in time for the summer season and back-to-school, debuts with refreshed packaging and will be sold at retail and via direct-to-consumer channels; direct orders include extra coloring pages and crayons. Jones Soda has completed a private placement with gross proceeds of $1,735,000. Units were issued consisting of a common share and a half detachable warrant; the proceeds will be used for growth and general corporate purposes. The company paid Revere Securities a cash fee equal to 8.0% of the gross proceeds. The securities were not registered under the U.S. Securities Act but include registration rights.
