Jasper Musadaidzwa appointed CEO of Kavango Resources
Kavango Resources has appointed Jasper Musadaidzwa as Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director with immediate effect. Musadaidzwa brings 27 years of mining experience, including 17 years at AngloGold Ashanti in senior roles responsible for multiple African mines and extending mine life. Kavango Resources: takeover of Nara gold project failed, legal action announced
Kavango Resources said that the vendor Simon John Bowman did not meet the conditions of the purchase option agreement for the Nara gold project and that the planned closing on 27 February therefore falls through. The company announced legal action to enforce the contract and to seek damages against Bowman and Romjack Mining (Private) Limited. Kavango Resources: CEO Ben Turney resigns with immediate effect
Kavango Resources announced that CEO Ben Turney has left his position and the board with immediate effect. Executive Chairman Peter Wynter Bee will assume the CEO role on an interim basis, while non-executive director Donald McAlister will temporarily step in as CFO and Gautam Dalal will chair the audit committee.
