Kemper beats adjusted earnings for Q2, reports large GAAP loss and revenue miss
Kemper reported adjusted earnings of $0.45 per share for Q2 (expectation $0.34), but missed revenue with $1.1 billion versus $1.16 billion expected. A GAAP net loss of $464.8 million was driven mainly by a $460 million goodwill impairment.
