Federal appeals court reinstates Tylenol lawsuits against Kenvue — stock falls
A three-judge panel in New York vacated the dismissal of suits against Kenvue and sent the case back for further proceedings, saying the lower court apparently exceeded its discretion when excluding three expert witnesses. Plaintiffs accuse Kenvue of concealing risks of a link between Tylenol use during pregnancy and autism; in 2023 about 500 suits had already been partly dismissed. Resuming the cases could lead to thousands more filings; a potential settlement could cost billions, Bloomberg Intelligence says. Kenvue shares fell about 1% on Monday. » More on de.investing.com
