Kinepolis: premiumization offsets attendance decline in 2025
Kinepolis recorded a 5.8% drop in attendance to 30.7 million in 2025, but was able to limit the revenue decline through premiumization measures and price adjustments. Total revenue amounted to €564.9 million (−2.3%) and adjusted EBITDAL was €128.2 million (−3.4%); on a constant-currency basis the declines were much smaller. Per-capita revenues rose (ticket revenue per visitor €5.70; concession sales €9.70) and offset part of the volume decline. Kinepolis acquired Emagine Entertainment to strengthen its US presence, improved net financial debt to €287.2 million and proposes a dividend increase to €0.65 per share; management expects a stronger film slate in 2026 and a recovery in attendance. » More on de.investing.com
