  • Kratos-Valkyrie demonstrates electronic warfare and BVLOS control in Marine test

A Valkyrie drone from Kratos demonstrated successful electronic warfare capabilities and beyond-visual-line-of-sight (BVLOS) control during U.S. Marine Corps tests in Southern California. Control was handed off from a Kratos ground station to a man‑machine interface developed by Autonodyne, allowing a Marine operator to pilot the aircraft via a data link; the drone flew alongside several F-35s and an F/A-18. Kratos says it will build more than 150 Group-5 UAVs this year and is scaling production to about 40 Valkyrie per year; together with Northrop Grumman the company is working on a MUX TACAIR prototype expected to be completed in summer 2026. » More on de.investing.com

  • Kratos exceeds Q2 expectations and raises full‑year outlook for organic revenue growth

Kratos reported adjusted EPS of $0.21 and revenue of $458.8 million for Q2 2026, both well above consensus estimates. Organic revenue growth was 19.1%; the company raised its 2026 guidance for organic revenue growth from 15–20% to 19–23% and expects further growth particularly in hypersonics, engines and unmanned systems. Management points to a $15 billion bid pipeline and $1.99 billion in bookings over the past 12 months, while investments to scale production led to negative operating and free cash flow. » More on de.investing.com

  • Kratos commissions Rangeview to develop turbine casting components

Rangeview received a funded contract from Kratos to develop and supply cast components made from superalloys for Kratos' turbine engine programs. The parts are intended to close a gap in the domestic casting industry identified by the U.S. Department of Defense and to produce complex geometries that have often been manufactured previously by laser powder-bed additive manufacturing. Kratos views the agreement as a milestone in preparing production of nozzle engines for drones and rockets, while it expands Rangeview’s portfolio of funded programs in propulsion, defense and power. » More on de.investing.com
