Marsh McLennan Agency has reached an agreement to acquire Accel Holdings; the deal is expected to close in the third quarter and financial terms were not disclosed. Accel, an independent insurance and advisory firm with more than 130 employees and seven offices in Iowa, Illinois, Missouri and Kansas, provides commercial and personal lines insurance, employee benefits, agribusiness solutions, wealth management and retirement advisory.
