McEwen Mining misses Q2-2026 due to production issues at Gold Bar
McEwen Mining reported adjusted earnings of $0.2243 per share and revenue of $83m for Q2-2026, both well below analysts' estimates. The shortfall was caused by lower throughput and reduced recovery rates at the Gold Bar mine due to carbon-bearing ore, which sharply increased AISC. The stock fell sharply in after-hours trading; management expects costs to decline in H2-2026 as recovery improvements take effect. Longer term, the Los Azules copper project remains the main growth option, with part of its financing planned via an IPO and debt. » More on de.investing.com
