Meridian Energy reports strong turnaround in fiscal year 2026

Meridian Energy recorded a marked recovery for the year ended 30 June 2026: operating cash flow rose to NZD 810m and EBITDAF to NZD 1.05bn. The total distribution was increased (full-year dividend NZD 0.225) and customer numbers and sales volumes grew significantly. For 2027 the company forecasts EBITDAF of NZD 1.04–1.12bn, but expects higher investment spending (Capex NZD 370–410m) and a temporary rise in net debt to just above 3.0 times EBITDA. » More on de.investing.com
