MAA redeems 8.50% Series I preferred shares on Oct. 1, 2026

MAA will repurchase all outstanding 8.50% cumulative, callable Series I preferred shares on Oct. 1, 2026, paying $50.00 per share plus any unpaid accrued dividends through that date. After the repurchase date no further dividends will accrue; the full quarterly dividend of $1.0625 will be paid on Sept. 30 to shareholders of record on Sept. 15.
