Mineros reports record results in H1 2026 and raises production guidance
Mineros delivered record figures in the first half of 2026: revenue rose 63% to $559m, net profit grew 63% to $133m and adjusted EBITDA climbed 70% to $260m. Gold-equivalent production increased 12% to 122,600 ounces and the company raised its 2026 guidance to 220,000–240,000 ounces. Drivers were higher gold prices, increased production and higher silver sales; Mineros is also expanding processing capacity in Nicaragua and advancing projects such as Porvenir. Mineros expands share buyback program to $175 million
Shareholders of Mineros unanimously approved expanding the buyback program to $175 million; the program runs until March 27, 2029. To date Mineros has repurchased $19.8 million of shares, leaving $155.2 million available for future buybacks. Mineros completes $13.3m share buyback on Colombian exchange
From May 11 to 15 Mineros repurchased 2,986,851 common shares on the Colombian exchange at 16,500 COP per share, totaling 49.3 billion COP (USD 13.3 million). The buyback was executed at a 13.8% premium to the May 15 closing price; settlement is scheduled for May 26. The transaction is the first tranche of a shareholder-approved program (approved March 27) with a capacity of up to USD 80 million; outstanding shares fall from 295,780,517 to 292,793,666.
