    KfW IPEX-Bank is participating as mandated lead arranger with $100m in a syndicated financing of around $375m for ten newbuild container ships for MPC Container Ships. The vessels (3,700 and 4,500 TEU) are scheduled for delivery between January 2028 and May 2029 and will be chartered long-term to Hapag-Lloyd. Key components come from European suppliers and are fitted at Chinese shipyards; the transaction therefore supports fleet renewal and European supply chains.
