Pan Pacific tests Robin-Hood branch concept in Jimokuji with focus on convenience
Morgan Stanley inspected Pan Pacificâs new Robin-Hood branch in Jimokuji (opening April 24, 2026) and describes a clear store layout of about 2,300 mÂČ with a target sales mix of 75% food and 25% non-food across roughly 30,000 SKUs. The deli/food-to-go area was significantly expanded compared with the predecessor (around 350 fine-food items, about 100 exclusive), there is extensive prepackaged fresh food and about 50 private-label/OEM products with plans to expand to roughly 100. Key strategies are low prices, added value, speed and convenience; the branch, the report says, also draws customers from beyond the assumed catchment of 30,000 residents and competes with Gyomu Super, local supermarkets and specialized drugstore formats. » More on de.investing.com
