Polytec sharply raises half-year profit 2026 despite sales decline

Polytec reports H1 2026 revenue of EUR 287.4 million (-19.6%) with improved results: EBITDA rose to EUR 22.6 million (+7%), EBIT to EUR 8.3 million (+47%) and earnings per share to EUR 0.21 (after EUR 0.06). The balance sheet strengthened with an equity ratio of 50.1% and net debt of EUR 29.6 million. Management and restructuring measures contributed to margin improvement, and the company confirms its 2026 outlook with a target EBIT margin of around 3%.
