Powerhouse Energy has secured a contract worth around £260,000 with a Welsh battery developer. The company will provide thermal process engineering expertise to modify test furnaces and support the development of a novel anode material; payments are expected over the next eight months. Powerhouse Energy has been granted new patents in the US, Indonesia and Australia for its DMG process to convert non-recyclable waste into low-carbon energy. US patent no. 12,434,280 complements two other US patents; in Indonesia and Australia patents were each issued for the process detail "Treatment of Waste - Steam ratio." The rights are intended to strengthen commercialization of the syngas technology and support discussions with global customers; further filings in the UK, Europe and other regions are pending.
