A consortium of Canada Pension Plan Investment Board (CPP Investments) and Sumant Sinha, founder and CEO, has made a non-binding cash offer of $6.75 per share for ReNew shares not yet held by the consortium. The proposed transaction is to be structured as a UK scheme of arrangement; shareholders may accept the cash offer or retain their shares, and those who do not decide before the court hearing will automatically receive the cash offer.
