Repay Holdings will be a partner for Visa Platform Connect and will provide backend clearing and settlement services, giving ISOs and ISVs direct access to VisaNet and Visa’s payments ecosystem. The partnership offers a unified API for card-present and card-not-present transactions, fraud management, tokenization and dispute resolution, as well as real-time features such as push-to-card payouts. Repay outlined at the Canaccord conference the integration of KUBRA, which nearly doubles the company’s size and expands its bill presentment and payment product offering in the US and Canada. Management expects lower gross margins and higher interest expense in the short term due to financing; first run-rate synergies of $4.5m have already been identified, with a target of $8m for 2024 and more than $20m by 2028. Net leverage currently stands at about 3.7x, with a goal to get below 3.0x within 18 months.
